Trazadone prescription
Hey just wondering… My bf went to the doctor to seek help on his sleeping schedule. He has trouble falling asleep sometimes, but the MAIN problem is he can’t physically get himself to wake up and get out of sleep without 20-40 minutes of someone yelling and shaking him. He can’t wake up to alarms, phone calls, absolutely anything. I’ve seen him sleep for like 16+ hours a day, he sleeps so much and just can’t control it.
So anyways they prescribed him Trazadone, which I‘m familiar with because we used to give our dog Trazadone after surgery as a sedative. I’m just wondering if a sedative will help his main problem of not being able to wake UP??
Ill note he has anxiety so ig the doctor grouped together the anxiety and bad sleep schedule together and gave him a sedative. But he can’t wake up, so why was he given a sedative?
