Been trying to do more research on the CFA regarding how to prep for Feb 2027 Exam for Lv 1. Few questions:

How does picking your exam date work? Im pretty sure I saw you take an exam on weekends, but I don't want to spend $1k+ before I understand this a bit more.
How much time did you take to study? Did you do the 300 hours? And how did you scheduling studying around work unless you just were studying on weekends.
What are all of the test prep providers that help you prepare? Im sure there is going to be bias but I just want to know all the reputable ones before I schedule my exam so I can do more research on my own.

Any other helpful tips to know is nice as well!
