Midway trough episode 8... and I am kinda lost

Forgot to put a warning; EPISODE 8 SPOILERS !!!

I have never felt this divisive while reading umineko. Ever since the start of this Halloween Party for Ange, I kinda grew skeptical and disinterested in the seriousness or at least how grounded the story used to be prior to this, including its narrative structure. Though, I soon came to like this subversion and saw that it allowed many characters to receive bitter-sweet closure to their respective conflicts, and though a side of me still found it a little cheeky (could be due to personal bias, since I am much used to normal narrative-structures) I grew hooked. I saw it as a valuable present and message for Ange, to comfort her and gift her an illusion with her family all happy, including those superfluous fantastical elements Maria and her used to cope with the harsh reality. The Bern mystery afterwards was a bit of a challenge to solve but it felt so rewarding when completing it! A very amazing riddle that thrilled me in the idea of experiencing a battle of wits yourself against the author! And Ange's realization that she was being deceived by her brother sent chills down my spine! At this point I felt how starkly Episode 8 differentiates itself from the rest of the story - as if I had swum deep into the matt blues of the ocean, devoid of what came before and out in an open unknown...

Though, after Ange trashed the party by letting Eva-trice break loose of the fragments of the future to come down in the form of goats and demolish this possible happy truth of the island, destroying the cat box's content... I kinda grew lost and found myself detached from interest with the fantasy-packed fighting scenes. It felt immature, silly and cheap. I do get the implications of it criticizing unrelated to the incident people of the future tarnishing over the deceased by playing around and painting over the truth to their liking with theories that sound enticing and such, it all still doesn't sit right with me.

Is there more to all this fantasy that I don't see? Am I the only one who finds it kinda silly and unserious? Or should I just continue reading to see what happens? I kinda feel more and more unmotivated to continue reading it, despite Umineko having surpassed almost everything that I have read in the past. This could be my bias but I would like to hear how other people see these fantasy scenes, in the past I loved interpreting their meaning but now they just feel silly to me. (for clarification, I stopped just when Beatrice went to battle against Beatrice in the chapel while Erika and Battler started their own closed room battle.)
