Excuse the terrible drawing lol.

Saw this bird in Arkansas flying low in front of/over my car while driving and it’s been bothering me because I can’t figure out what it was.

It was light brown/tan with kind of a yellowish tint, though more lighter brown overall. Around the size of a red-bellied woodpecker, maybe even a little bigger. Its neck looked kind of tucked/retracted while flying, but I couldn’t tell for sure since I only saw it for a few seconds.

Seen in a small town around shopping areas/parking lots, probably about half a mile from a river if that matters.

Any ideas what this could’ve been? It's driving me crazy lol
