Post Gallbladder Removal and Weed
Hi Everybody! So I’m 5 days post-op from getting my gallbladder removed. I know it’s bad to smoke while healing because it slows down the healing process ( at least I read nicotine does, im not too sure if weed does but let me know!) and the coughing can hurt the incisions but it’s been very hard to quit everything cold turkey (as you can imagine). I wanted to ask if I smoke a little bit of weed today, do you guys think i’ll be okay and will it affect any of my recovery progress?
(I’ve been off the prescribed pain medication for 2 days now. I’ve only been taking Ibuprofen.)
I only plan to take one small weed hit (hopefully my tolerance is low enough and it’s a THC pen). I just really really crave it and it’s gotten to the point where i’m literally crying from the cravings so I wanted to ask on here. Thanks everybody! ☺️
- Also idk if this is important to mention but I did smoke weed and nicotine like a week after I got my wisdom teeth removed and I healed up perfectly fine!
