I go prescribed 0.05% tretinoin but I’ve seen a lot of people say to start at 0.025% or 0.01%, I have the option to buy 0.025% through amazon pharmacy but I already have 2 tubes of the 0.05% is it risky to start with the .05 or should I just buy the .025 from amazon for $41??? I have oily skin and over the years I’ve used “stronger” products like aha & bha masks as well as 2% salicylic acid toners and I feel like my skin tolerated all those things really well. I find my skin to not be reactive or sensitive & it takes a lot for it to be irritated. Which gives me some confidence to start at 0.05% but I also don’t want to get a bad impression of tretinoin starting at a higher percentage.
