To the Women here, what mental gymanstics did you do to forget the basic injustices of marriage?
I am 27F, can't imagine getting married since india has no marital rape laws or laws against alimony or the chance to get a prenup. I can't have anyone having the legal right to my body in a way, being pressured in all those damn dumb rituals, all my property instantly being his and future earning potential, and god forbid a 7 janam thing!.
While scrolling my reddit feed, I came across this reddit page, here I saw a lot of young women having to deal with so much emotional trauma on these posts. I am just wondering, was it society or your conditioning that made you forget about the very inbalanced and unjust way women are treated in marriages? Or did you take a risk, and why did you take these risks?
