[Hiring] Editor for YouTube Art Tutorials

Hey all!

I’m looking for an editor for my YouTube channel. I create long form tutorial style videos, mainly about the art software Clip Studio Paint and some basic illustration techniques.

The channel name is StartManga. I’ve attached my linktree so you can get a reference of how I’ve previously edited my videos.

I’m looking to hire a long-term editor that would be able to edit a video for me once a month. My videos can range dramatically in length, but I’m aiming to keep all future content around 15-20 minutes at most.

For this hiring process, I want to get a feel for a few editors. To test, I would like you to edit a 1 minute tutorial. This edit is PAID based on your rate. My budget for this test run is $150-200 total, so I can only hire a select few individuals. If our initial discussion goes well, I will send you a file with the videos files, necessary graphics, and a basic script to structure the edit off of.

I want the editing process to be quick and efficient for you! I’m just looking for some clean zooms when I’m referencing a specific button/icon on screen along with a highlight on that item, and a few text graphics where applicable. I’m also looking to cut out unnecessary pauses or errors. All the required edits or graphics will be noted in the script, but if you see opportunities to make the visual more clear/appealing I’d love to see your creative twist on things!

Payment will be in CAD (Canadian dollars), via PayPal unless you have a preferred method that I can also use. For future long form videos, my budget is $200 per.

Please list the following in your comment or DM:
- Your name/handle and editing experience
- Your rate
- Any portfolio you have
- Questions you have for me

EDIT:

Some people have had trouble viewing the Linktree, so I'm linking my YouTube channel directly here: https://www.youtube.com/@StartManga/videos
