My housemates have a 1 year old dachshund. They rarely take him for walks, he stays inside a lot and probably sleeps most of the day. He has such an ear piercing bark. He barks at "nothing" at lot. I think he's lacking enrichment. I know it's not my job but if I took him for at least a 30min walk every day and his behavior improved, would that be worth having a discussion with his owners/ my housemates?

I've never owned a dog, first time living with one.
