Did KPZ 70 get nerfed?

I've been using the Kpz 70 a lot recently, and these non penetrations are starting to piss me off. If an area I'm aiming at, with a 152mm round mind you, is completely clear, how is the round bouncing. I bounce off road wheels literally all the time. I don't understand how it doesn't penetrate anything.

Last 2 pics are of me not being able to pen lower glacis on a type 71 apparently, which is also frustrating.

Honest review of T 55A

After 150 battles, I've decided to review the tank as I've experienced it. Maybe will help those that wish to purchase it decide, or help you fight them when you encounter one. I also main meds if that shows any bias.

Armour:

As a tier 9, everything can pen the hull, at any range, unless you're angled upwards, in which case you have no gun depression. I've experienced one bounce in 150 games on the upper glacis, from a Centurions 90mm, and honestly I mostly attribute that to luck. The side armour, seems to be able to be pentrated by HE even when angled, when being shot at from a 100mm and up.

However, the turret armour is phenomenal. I've seen 105mm from Tiger 2, E-Series, Pattons, even a T-28, bounce off point blank. Centurions and Pershings couldn't pen at all and had to back off. IS-7/8, and E-100 128mm don't seem to care however. This is a tank that must be used in the hull down if you intend to brawl, or snipe. Be cautious though, as due to the vehicles low profile, I often find my upper glacis is exposed just trying to creep up to shoot.

Firepower:

Armed with the same 100mm (slightly upgraded yes, with 2 plane stab) as the Su-100, the penetration of AP is decent, but I often find it can't penetrate tier 8-10 heavies from the front at all, unless you get the lower glacis or cc's cupola. That said, you also can pentrate basically all Lights, Meds, and most TDs without much trouble at all. HEAT rounds don't offer extra penetration, but also don't lose their penetration value over range either, so I often don't see a need to use them unless shooting across the map. HE has about 50mm of penetration from this cannon and will do 300-500 damage if successful, which is quite useful when fighting light tank destroyers, or if get a cheeky broadside on a Leo 1.

Reload time is around 6 seconds. The vehicle has a high dpm, but I find when brawling against other tier 9-10s, especially Euro Union tree or weird Blitz vehicles, that I always reload slower.

Accuracy, in my experience, has been sub par. Even when the aiming circle is tightest, rounds hit the ground all the time. My accuracy stat is at 70 it misses so often. Don't bother trying to shoot a cupola over a crest because you'll hit the dirt 95% of the time and expose yourself. I personally would say the success rate of hitting lower glacis at 200m would be about 65-70%. Gun depression is not good, and I find I must reposition myself frequently in order to be useful, usually losing my hull down positions in the process.

Mobility:

Powered irl by the V-55V Diesel V12 making 580hp, the game variant states it has 780hp, but it certainly doesn't feel like it. Don't get me wrong it's no slouch either, and is great for early match spotting due to its low profile, but its certainly outclassed by most German and American mediums. Theres a trade off there for armour sure, but when a Leo 1 can pen me at most ranges/angles anyways, I find it doesn't matter as much.

Survivability:

Due to the cramped nature of the T-Series, a pentrating shot frequently does damage to modules or crew. Most often I find, is the driver being killed and ammo rack being damaged at the same time, which is frustrating. In 150 games, I've been ammo racked once, never had an engine fire, but 75% of the time I'm hit a crew member is hurt.
