Nursing strike or self weaning?

Currently breastfeeding my 15 month old son 3 times a day. When he first gets up in the morning, before his nap, and before bed. On Wednesday when I was getting ready to nurse him for his nap he bit me twice (he’s got 10 almost 11 teeth now). I jumped both times and after the second he pulled off and started crying, absolutely refused to latch again. I just had to rock him to sleep. That night he refused to nurse and had a complete meltdown. Again, I rocked and sang him to sleep.

Yesterday he nursed fine in the morning and to sleep at night (had to skip the nap nurse cause I had to go to work) but his grandma watches him and said he napped fine.

This morning he goes to latch, puts his mouth on but then pulls back and starts crying. We had to sit and read some books for him to calm down then just going about our day as normal.

I don’t know if maybe his teeth coming in are causing discomfort or if me jumping when he bit me really hurt his feelings or if it’s just naturally coming to that time to wean. It just upsets me that he cries and is so mad he refuses to nurse.

Anyone else experience something similar?
