Hypothetical about Enha at ISAC
First of all, for anyone who doesn't know about it, ISAC or Idol Star Athletics Championship is an MBC show that has been going on since 2010 and consists of sport events where idols compete against each other.
Over the years, it has been a common trend to reminisce over just how good Enhypen could do at this events (particularly our athlete line) and since we never got them at these event because of the pandemic and the HYBE-MBC feud, and at this point most certainly won't since nowadays it's more common for rookies and younger groups to attend, I'm bringing this hypothetical to the table:
If Enha were to participate this year, what events do you think each member would do well at?
This using last year events (track and field, archery, pistol shooting, dance sports, wrestling, etc.) as reference since there have been a lot of events over the years that have slowly stopped appearing.
I feel like I solidified my idea for this hypothetical after we got the EN-DLESS WORLD stats because I had no idea who was faster out of Jungwon, Jake and Sunghoon lol
For anyone who didn't see it, Sunoo voted for Jungwon as the fastest, Riki voted for either himself or Sunghoon as the fastest, and everyone else voted exclusively for Sunghoon as the fastest (Sunghoon included).
So the general consensus was Sunghoon, then Riki/Jungwon and this isn't from the stats but Jake is super quick, too. Riki also mentioned Jay being last and we know Jake is faster than Sunoo, so that's the conclusion I came to 🤝
I would start by the track events and would put those four members on the sprint events. In particular, Sunghoon on the 50m because he is quick and Jungwon on the 100m because he has a ton of stamina.
If they did relay, I'd love for them to go Sunghoon - Jungwon - Jake - Riki. We have never exactly seen them race, so, again, I'm just guessing, but the fastest runners are put at the beginning and at the end with a strong sandwich between, so this is what I came up with.
I would then put Jay and Sunoo on pistol shooting. I'd also consider Sunoo for archery, but I'm more sure about pistol shooting since the range is smaller and during their archery episodes, those two were really good at the practice round in close range. Sunghoon was also pretty good at close range. I'd put Jake and Riki on archery as the main contenders.
And then I'd put Sunghoon and Jungwon on wrestling. They have the strength and balance to back it up.
I think there's also soccer penalty shootouts, so Jake there, of course. He'd do amazing both as a kicker and as a goalie since he has insane reflexes.
In conclusion, my ace is Jake lol
I can also perfectly imagine Jay and Sunoo being the best cheerleaders. Just recently we got the Just Dance episode and saw Jay go crazy with his cheers and I can picture him like an excited soccer dad. And Sunoo, our cheering fairy since forever, would make easy work of the encouragement. It would be so cute and fun.
