Silk 'Stargazer Scarf '

I wanted to weave this scarf as soon as I got my issue! I didn't have a 15-dent heddle though, and waited for a sale at the Weaver's Guild to get started. Then, I didn't quite understand the warping instructions (I was overthinking it. It made perfect sense once I got going). I like a ~66" scarf, so I added 6" on the loom which finished at 5" longer than the pattern (pattern called for weaving 72.5" for a finished length of 62" excluding fringe)

The peacock isn't my favorite color (I got it in a Gist mystery box late last year), but as a new weaver, most of what I make is for the sake of making and getting in practice.

I kept forgetting to wrap my ends, so they aren't great. Also, I messed up on the first color and weave section (at the top), but we're going to just let that be. LOL!

I trimmed the fringe to 5" after wet finishing and pressing and will leave it loose.

I'm proud of myself!!
