Is there an olight baton 4 ultra, ......but cheaper with better/warmer color?
Like the title said, I think I'd like the baton ultra, but warmer and cheaper. Does an animal like that exist?
So I've been trolling Reddit and Google for over 24 hours now and I'm just getting more confused and lost as I go down the flashlight rabbit hole. I am not a flashlight expert but I do have a little cr123 olight baton that has held up well, And in 18650 jet beam that my kids just lost. The jet beam was always disappointing because it was all flood and no throw. I forget the model, but it advertised itself as being 1600 lumens.
I want something with a lot more brightness and throw, But still back-pocketable. Not a pocket spotlight,, general purpose light that is a balance of throw and flood, not a pure flood like the jet beam was. I really like what I'm seeing of the new baton 4 ultra, at least on paper. Nice size, brightness seems there, the indicator lights and ui seem nice. But I wish it had a warmer tint and didn't cost $100. From what I can tell, olight is kind of overpriced. (Are they the Benchmade knives of the flashlight world?)
So these are some other options I've come up with, but I truly don't know if they are any account or not and I'd love to hear y'all's opinions. Feel free to weigh in with a better idea:
Skillhunt m3000
Wurkkos TS26
Acebeam e75
Thrunite TC20 V3
Sorfirn has several models that might work.
For tint, I'd like something in the 4500 to 5,500k range
Right now I have maybe four mediocre 18650 batteries and a charger that will take an 18650. So clearly I'm not deeply invested in that battery. I don't mind stepping up to the 21700, but I will not have a charger for it so I'll probably need to charge it in the flashlight.
For ui, I don't need strobe or SOS, I'd like a true moonlight, something low/medium, and then something very powerful. But I think most any flashlight can do that these days.
