Got this offer about a week ago (I was out of town) for a K4 LXS. I was asking for OTD price, but the sales manager said this is only if I finance through them. I'm fine with their financing, however that was last month. They were offering 3.99% for 60 months and now it looks like their APR is 5.5% for 60 months at least according to their website. The financing I have beats this new APR. The screen shot above shows the 3.99% APR. I have a feeling that APR is no longer available (I have not asked yet). The "Portfolio Theft" is the vin etching on the driver's side window according to the sales guy. At least it's not nitrogen filled tires.
Regardless of the financing, does this seem like a good price? Yes, I know my sales tax sucks.

Pricing struck me as odd

Started negotiating a price on a 2026 Kia K4 and the dealership gave me two difference quotes based off whether I finance through them or bring my own/pay cash. What struck me as odd is that the price of the vehicle was less if I financed through them. In fact, he quoted me MSRP if I paid cash or brought my own financing. In the past at least in my experience, it was reversed. Usually any sort of rebate or cash incentive was only available if you were paying cash or had your own financing. In the end we couldn't agree on a price (OTD), so I walked.

Dealer wants to do "Special Order"

I'm looking at getting a K4 LXS in Steel Grey. However, the dealership I am working with does not have one. I told the sales guy when he gets one in Steel Grey to let me know so I can come see it. Well today he asked if I wanted to do a "special order" for one. Having never done that before and think "this sounds expensive", I asked him what exactly that entails. He said we would sit down, custom build one (Again I'm hearing $$$ going off in my head), I'd put down a deposit and when the vehicle is delivered we would finalize the deal.

Curious if anyone else has had to do this or has done this before? I'm reaching out to other dealerships in my area, but some of them have their cars priced higher so I wasn't going to bother with them.
