IDF Soldier Part-Time Gig: Studying Dismemberment & Gore Footage for Rockstar GTA 6... It's Gonna Be Awesome 😭💀
Shalom! so i work part time as an IDF Soldier from Israel helping Rockstar Games with their gore and combat effects stuff.
my job is to send them real field reference so they can make the dismemberment limb ripping blood splatter and body destruction in GTA 6 look actually real. been with my unit for like 4 months now doing this side gig and its draining af.
last 6 weeks ive been stuck reviewing after action footage noting how bodies react to hits - like limbs getting completely torn off torsos splitting open heads popping from high caliber at night different ranges all that. i watch how they twitch and fall apart the blood sprays pooling everything for the devs. tried calling Rockstar HQ to ask when this part time thing ends and they wont say shit. just "do your job dont ask questions keep sending the gore footage" and hang up laughing.
havent seen my wife and kids in over 2 months. all day all night just staring at this brutal stuff thru my scope and binoculars for the Rockstar contract. its extra bad when things quiet down and theres no new material. called them to complain and they just laughed harder told me keep filming the dismemberment explosions its premium reference. i just wanna go home man.
anyway sorry for the long rant needed to get this off my chest. big buzz in the slack that GTA 6 Trailer 3 coming next week.
please remember the guys like me grinding when you play and the gore looks insane - all the limb tears ragdoll and mutilation shit. alot of us IDF dudes putting real part time work on our Rockstar contracts to make it feel authentic. GTA 6 Gore is gonna be awesome. Peace ✌️
