How carefully do I need to pay attention to contract notes when investing?

I'm relatively new to investing - I opened my S&S ISA account and I'm concentrating on adding to it little and often, every payday. So far so good, investing in a couple of funds that seem to be doing OK, as far as I'm any judge.

My question: what, if anything, do I need to do with the contract notes? I've only got the ISA so there's no tax liability, but am I going to need these contract notes in the future? Individually none of them are for more than a couple of hundred quid, although that may rise in the future. Am I going to need to be able to produce them? How carefully should I be filing them away on my hard drive?
