Upgrading cpu
So I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU from a 7700x to 9800x3d since I've build my PC for exactly that and didn't have the money at the time. Now I do.
But it got my thinking. I don't really understand the lanes on your motherboard. Do I need a new mother board too?
My specs:
7700x
Nvidia 5070ti 16 GB
32gb ram
Board: Gigabyte X870 Gaming Wifi
Psu: 850 corsair
Edit: forgot to mention my psu
Maybe someone could help me decide.
