please help regarding future prospects (cse vs ece dilemma )
I need some genuine advice. Can't decide ece or cse (I am interested in both but couldn't decide what will be required after 4 yrs)
Fuc*ed up Jee mains (27920), and adv , so probably will be getting some lower iiit (general, hs-uk). Opened reddit for advice but got flooded with people getting laid off, comparing resume , ai and shi so genuinely terrified what should I do . I want cse bcz interested + can be improved by my own efforts (at least what I think, grind from 1st yr and all )
Ece also seems appealing bcz similar to cse but not totally software, so less ai replaceable (at least i think) and people say can get tech job with ece if you are skilled enough. But apparently ece in itself is much harder + grinding for tech +high academic pressure seems like pcmb type shi. Not that I am not willing to do the work but still a person who only does cse will be better than someone with ece and some cs skills . Feeling so lost rn please help .
