I have been umpiring baseball for 15 years now, and have never dealt with any knee pain until this season. Every time I go to squat behind the plate, my knees are screaming. The pain is between my quad muscle and the top of the patella, both knees. Walking up and down the stairs has been painful to do along with just going to sit down. Is this likely just arthritis/inflammation? I do not want to go to see a specialist if there’s nothing they can really do. Looking for some advice. TYIA.
