This laptop will be used strictly for schooling purposes. I.e. writing essays, research etc. For context, I am a Library Science/ History major. A lot of my time will be spent writing and researching. There currently aren't any specific programs that I will need to download. The school is flexible and allows me to use whatever browser I wish. I will write my essays on Microsoft word or Google Docs.
- Desired battery life
8-12 hours. I'm not picky though. I will always have the option of plugging in my laptop if need be.
Most important to least important: Performance, Battery Life, Weight, Size
Info/Requirements
I don't have many requirements in mind. I just ask that nobody recommends a Macbook as they are extremely costly.
Overall, I am looking for something reliable but not super fancy. Although I am looking for something within my budget, if there happens to be a more expensive recommendation I am open to that as well.
