Alchemy Arktos upper pivot HELP!
During my ride yesterday I noticed that there was some play in the upper pivot (where the chainstay connects, pointing to it in the 1st pic), and by the end of my ride, it was noticeably worse.
Later at home I attempted to take apart the whole upper linkage to hopefully diagnose the issue. I got the conical end caps off (parts B and C in the 2nd pic - Arktos Assembly Manual from Alchemy website), but couldn't get the pivot bolt out (part A in the pic), and fear I might have damaged the frame now. There is an internal 8mm fitting inside the pivot bolt that seems to be for unscrewing the bolt, but it was super tight in both directions, and made some funny noises when I tried turning it.
Has anyone successfully taken apart their upper linkage pivot bolt and care to share?
FYI I have a 2022 Arktos in its 135 setup.
