Curious to hear people’s thoughts on my line, not sure if this was a gigantic punt. I’ll detail my thought process:
>!I was new to this table so didn’t have a great read on the guy. European kid in his 20’s. I figure when V1 calls pre he has to be fairly strong but is capped (obviously wasn’t the case lol). I think he’s got a range of 77-JJ maybe some QQ. A bunch of strong Ax suited hands, maybe KT-KQs type hands. When I c-bet flop I figure it’s down to 77-JJ/QQ and some stronger Ax suited that decides to be sticky. X/X turn makes me think he doesn’t love seeing the T come out. When I check the river I was curious to see what size he went with. The 35k felt strong, and at this point figured he had a strong pair (AT, 88, JJ, QQ). My thought process was that I could rep ten’s through aces pretty credibly and get him to fold a ton of strong pairs. It felt like it would be a super underbluffed spot considering the SPR and he could make a disciplined fold. Considering he looked to almost fold AA multiple times during his tank I think this read was right but should I just be picking a better spot than this and wave the flag on the river? Thanks for reading!!<
