Feel like Law School is practically out of the cards for me- 2.6/165

UGPA- 2.6

LSAT- Currently PTing at 165, signed up to take the August and September LSATs

7 years work experience, active duty Army Officer including a combat deployment to Iraq

URM- Latino

My number 1 school by a mile is University of Oklahoma followed by University of Denver, Texas Tech, University of Kansas, UNM, really any school in the Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado area or states bordering that.

I think my softs really help but god these prediction calculators make me feel like an idiot for even trying. Im really not trying to go to anything even in the top 30-40. I’d like to stay in the top 100 but I understand if that’s a reach.

I’ve already written my “Why OU” essay and I’m a half page into my personal statement (which I think is really killer and hopefully will grab an admissions officers attention)

Anyway. Any advice or perspective is very welcome
