Recorded Classical Music Explanations for Kids?
Ok I know Peter and the Wolf and a Young Person's Guide to the orchestra. Let's take those as read.
But I have a 3.5 year old and she LOVES Bernstein's Carnival of the Animals where he explains the pieces right before they're performed, and in kid friendly language. I *know* Bernstein has other lectures, but my understanding those are for adults and aren't right before/after the music they describe.
Do you guys know any other recordings like that? Like before the movement starts someone comes on and says "here's what's happening and why."
Anyways I was raised by a classical music fan who never taught me terribly well about the music we were always listening to. Id like to do better. I figure if anyone knows it's you guys. LMK and thanks!
