As the title says, I’m looking for recommendations on a trip later this year to have decent weather & such. Will be driving from TN > SD > WY/MT in my Corvette. Planning to do the northeast entrance from Beartooth Highway, for some of the more fun driving roads. The current idea is mid/late August or early September for arrival, just after the Sturgis rally. Biggest worry is potential for snow, given the type of car I’ll be driving. Any input regarding snowfall around that time of year? I’ve heard it’s a bit of a hit or miss. Don’t want to plan for an amazing scenic drive in the car & end up having some of the more scenic areas being slick/impassable due to driving a V8-RWD car.
