I recently installed Linux Mint XFCE on my laptop and have two issues:
The internal speakers are detected and audio is playing, but the volume is extremely low. I can only hear it if I put my ear right next to the speaker.
The touchpad is not working.
Everything else seems to work fine.
Has anyone experienced this or knows a fix?

I took admission in the July 2025 session and I’ve already submitted my assignments. But I didn’t know that we have to separately register for exams to actually appear in them.
I checked for my hall ticket today and realized I never filled out the exam form. Does this mean I have to wait until December now, or is there still any way I can appear in this session’s exams?
Also, can someone explain re-registration and the overall process a bit? It’s honestly really confusing for me right now.
