New Zealand - molloscum product for kids that’s working!
Hi folks, I have found this sub very helpful when dealing with molloscum on my kids (6 and 1) so thought I would post what’s worked for us recently.
We have tried several options including spending a lot of money on Mollenol products - I think these could be great for adults who are patient enough to wait for the oil to dry, apply the patches and not wriggle around or immediately rip them off, which is unfortunately not my children. Anyway, I can’t remember what made me stumble upon it but the plasters that are finally bringing our baby’s spots to the surface, drying them out until they are brown and then just allow them to pop off are the Band Aid brand Advance Healing hydrocolloid plasters, which can be bought from the supermarket. You can buy them in small plasters or big ones which are designed for blisters. Pop one on over a patch of molloscum, leave for up to five days, peel off and repeat! The spots will dry out and because the whole plaster is sticky they won’t spread. And they stay stuck even in the bath. We are finally getting it under control after many months!
