Mazagon dock project issue and the Hindu Analysis Article on June8.
There were a lot of talks to and fro about the mazagon dock issue moving away from TN, posting this hindu article on june 8th which has put out a good analysis article Please read this entirely whoever needs to get more clarity.
Synopsis: Seems Mou was signed on September 2025, But on December 2025 MDL was unhappy with bringing in Hyundai on an exclusive business cooperation and MDL felt that the then state Govt subverted the bidding procedure and acted in favor of hyundai and level playing field was altered. Also it says MDL waited for an answer from TN govt in December 2025 and it did not get further responses.
So it seems this project was moved away in December 2025 itself or at least displeasure was there, now they are looking to invest in Andhra.
Again this in an analysis article in Hindu, whoever wants to dig in further can research. This is just to make awareness of what's happening.
