I can’t get this damn clutch to bleed!

Long story short I have a 75 Chevy k10 with an nv4500 transmission from the 90s swapped in (early 90s GM version). With the transmission I of course had to install a hydraulic clutch system. It’s one of those external slave cylinder ones with only a little bleed screw (no way to attach vacuum on bottom). I have tried all the different tips and trips online to get this bled including bench bleeding, vacuum through master cylinder, forcing air up top through compressing the slave cylinder, and the generic bleed procedure with the screw.

No matter what I do the best I can get out of the clutch pedal is a little movement at the top and then at softens and makes a weird squelching sound coming from the master cylinder. I am at my wit’s end and at the end of my supply of dot fluid (from trying to bleed the whole day).

If it helps I did have to swap the standard hardline for a braided AN line with adapters to make it fit. Any advice is welcome. Thank you for your time.
