Attended my first AA meeting; is this whole thing Atheist friendly?

As someone who doesn't believe in god or support organized religious groups I am wondering if AA is going to be a comfortable and safe place for me?

Many of the stuff about heaven or spiritual awakenings or prayer don't necessarily appeal or resonate with me. Everyone in the room I was in seemed to be religious or god-fearing. Some of the other meetings are literally hosted in churches as well.

I didn't want to ask questions on my first visit or make myself come off as a heathen... it was always neutral/intellectually driven when I saw mentions of it in movies or on tv shows so I wasn't really expecting it to be so watered down with religious rhetoric. I will probably go back but I wish there were other options.

Roommates charging me for utilities months after we move into new place

I've lived with a roommate and typically rent includes utilities during the year we lived together at another property. Now we've moved to a different house and we have a third roommate which is her friend and 2 months later (today) they want me to sign a contract saying I will pay 1/3 of utilities on top of my rent. We've been here since March so I didn't know this was going to happen.

There is only five days left in the month so I messaged her saying I genuinely don't think I will be able to have enough time to earn enough for utilities. Is this normal? I'm currently unemployed and trying to make ends meet so this was unexpected.
