Hey everyone!

I am looking for some tips/suggestions on how to get this dark stain out of our counter. We rent an apartment, so it’s important we get it out before moving. The stain came from where our pump bottle of dawn dish soap has sat over the two years we’ve rented here—apparently, small amounts of water/soap leaking into the area stained it.
I have tried the suggestion of baking soda + water mixture spread over the area, covered, and left to dry for 24 hours. Not only did that not help, it actually made it look worse because now there are little white spots on the counter in that area that I can’t seem to get off either (if you zoom in, you can see these).
Super grateful for any suggestions or advice! Thank you in advance!
