IRL wreckage found in the game

I have accidentally found this wreck of an Mi-6 helicopter in Northern Siberia, Russia while casually scrolling through googlemaps (as you do).

Since I was kind of close to it in my Neofly career anyways, I decided to check if it is visible in the game, and Bingo! It is there in all her decaying might.

It crash landed on Aug. 8, 1981, after ground crew loaded it with fuel containing large amounts of water. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the aircraft was totalled, left there to decay.

Coords are 64.3936°N 78.0372°E if anyone is interested, closest airport is USDS , you need to fly some 35 nm southeast.

Aerial photograph of an unknown industrial city from a poster a friend found at grandparents' home

This image was found in Hungary, but the place is probably not in that country, but somewhere in the former Eastern Bloc, probably taken in the 60s-80s. By the architecture, I'd guess Czechoslovakia or DDR, but not sure where, I tried sweeping some satellite imagery in some industrial hubs in those countries, no luck yet. I feel this is a personal challenge at this point.

Statistical proofing of the cloud situation (a.k.a. Is the game gaslighting me with clouds?)

This is posted in good faith as a bug report, hoping that is a bug and not a deliberate en💩 tification of the game.

Many of us had had a feeling that over time, catching planes is more and more frustrating, with more clouds than before. Recently it felt way worse than before, so two months ago, I started collecting data, in a big enough number to get meaningful results. While a much bigger number would give a cleaner result (especially for the small rates of 5+ passes before a clear sky), it is a lot of work to make these stats while playing. Mathematically, by checking the data, there is a 95% chance that cloudiness rates had been changed and this is not just a random variation of same probabilities.

-Between the 30th of March and the 12h of April, over two weeks, I recorded the outcome of 500 catches (and ~180 more on blue sky to have more accurate stats for item drops and glows)

-After about a month, I started a second dataset between the 12th of May until the 26th (today), recording another 500 catch (plus ~120 with blue sky)

The results:

-The rate of clear sky on 1st pass dropped from about 46% to under 39% of total catches

-The rate of 1st clear sky on 3rd pass increased from about 13% to 18%

-The possibility to have ZERO clear passes out of 8 appeared, about 0.5% of all passes

-Other cloudy sky combos remained roughly the same

-Total perceived cloud coverage (if you catch at 1st clear pass, the % of waited out passes that were cloudy) has changed from 51.1% to 55.4%

+1: Item drop rate seems to be lowered from about 5% to about 3.5%, but I suspect I failed to register a few drops and this comparison might be off.

See the screenshots for the statistics, the one with the coloured change rates is the later ones.
