21M. looking for people into metalcore/hardcore/post-hardcore to go to shows with.

i listen to pretty much everything including hip hop/rap, but this is my favourite genre, and none of my friends are into it. i went to the Mayday SG concert and the Counterparts show on the 5th, and i made some friends there. that's why, i thought it would be cool to have more people to go with/talk about this stuff with in the future :)

any age/gender is/are welcome.

these are my favourites bands

metalcore: silent planet, counterparts, blessthefall, ERRA, vianova, invent animate, oceans ate alaska, boundaries

post-hardcore: saosin, alexisonfire, ghost atlas, SENNA, underoath

hardcore: don't listen to it enough to have any favourites yet, but i'm open to recommendations. i've been listening to knocked loose, SPEED, and END recently, and i really like END.

side note: if you know of any bands in singapore, lemme know their names/instagram accounts

This song isn't about Berserk, but its lyrics are really fitting right after the eclipse imo. "A Martyr Left Alive" by Counterparts

https://youtu.be/NU0dackyflo?si=g9yYBmjooGUS1h36

Bless us with lost blood

No sacred skin remains above a waiting grave

On faith and with fanged teeth

Angels starved will feed

Spared of sacrifice

Unrepentant, into rotting arms we flee

Severing the serrated wings used to burden the bereaved

Famine fell like rain from desecrated skies

To bathe its thirsted tongue with the tears of those survived

To the sky I prayed

For flesh not yet decayed

I wept when Heaven let them die

The holier the thief (The holier the thief)

The heavier we grieve (The heavier we grieve)

Hallowed be a martyr left alive

Bless us with lost blood

Inheritance of pain

A satiated grave

Stained by fate and false belief

Angels starved will feed

To the sky I prayed

For flesh not yet decayed

I wept when Heaven let them die

▲ 5 r/NTU

i got a place in NTU for comp sci + 2nd maj in biz last year and i'm matriculating this year. as i'm getting closer to starting though, i'm kinda considering dropping biz because i assume CS will already have a pretty heavy workload and idk if i'll be able to keep up.

are there any benefits to a 2nd major that i should take into consideration as well?
