PYCM Chassagne Montrachet VV & Drappier BdeB

Finished a set of exams this week and wanted to celebrate with something out of the ordinary. PYCM had caught my eye in a local spot.

Started with Drappier BdeB, a favourite. Whiff of raw dough and lemons on the nose, then lovely richness and density.

PYCM Chassagne Montrachet VV 2021 was the main event and didn't disappoint. All of the parameters amplified. Initial coconut and lemon curd nose, then tastes immediately like electric butter. An utter delight and I am ruined for evermore.

Supermarket tokaji and a slice or gurr cake to finish.
