A little guidance here...
Hello again all,
Well 3 weeks later and I could use some help with a situation I've got going on. I think that I know what needs to be done, but I'd like a double check. When I first posted 22 days ago, it was in regards to my plant being fairly sickly. Well it was also mentioned in that thread that my wife brought home a 2nd plant, a clone that I still don't know much about other than some dude didn't want to grow it. It was estimated that she was a couple weeks behind my plant.
They are both flipped and starting their 2nd week of flower
Anyways, this 2nd plant is pretty gangly, I have been really focused on my other plant that my sister gave me so I've been letting it do it's thing over there. Yesterday was pretty normal, both in the prayer position all day. I knew they needed water this morning or tomorrow at the latest, but I came home today to this.
My older (?) plant looks way behind by comparison, and she hasn't stretched anywhere close to as much as this other plant, and now this other plant appears to be budding
For comparison, my older plant is about 2" above those side-rails in the tent.
I suppose the question is, starting the 2nd week of flower, can I safely cut those apicals just before lights out tomorrow night and even these canopies out, or am I past that point? I know that plant needed pruning and better care a while ago, but she never wanted to bush out so I was kind of waiting for that to happen, and well here I am.
