Do you think AI music needs its own platform, or is this just hype?
Lately I keep seeing more and more AI generated music popping up on Instagram, TikTok, etc.
I know there’s also a lot of slop, but every now and then I hear something that’s genuinely not bad at all.
It got me wondering does this eventually become its own thing, or does it just stay mixed into regular platforms like Spotify/YouTube?
Like, would there ever be a point where people use something specifically for AI music?
Or is that overthinking it, and people just care if the song is good, not how it was made?
Also curious:
If there was a separate app/site just for this kind of music, would you ever check it out?
Would creators even bother uploading to something like that?
Just feels like there’s a lot of noise around this lately and I can’t tell what’s real and what's hype.
Curious what people here actually think.
