Update on little foot

Please don’t judge her appearance. I only got her 3 days ago and she has already improved so much and put on a good amount of weight already. Depending on lighting she’s scattered with heaps of iridophores which is pretty cool!
Just went to have a walk around the pet shop to pass the time as you do and saw this little guy in with a bunch of Molly fish that looked like they were nipping him. He was swimming quite frantically and looked to be under pretty severe stress. I saw the temp of the water and it was at 24 degrees Celsius! He also lost a leg that’s been regenerating, the smaller leg.
I lost my axolotl that I had for years a few weeks ago and simply could not leave him there. Also the pet shop said they had only been giving blood worms and I should continue that as the main food source. I’m pretty sure that’s why he is so skinny. I’ll have him tubbed with fresh water changes daily until my tank cycles. I have plenty of food and everything I need so I hope this guy starts improving.
This guy was not having a good time so I hope I can give him a better life now 🥲
He/she still doesn’t have a name so I’d be up for any suggestions!
The second pic shows my cuteness aggression that I just couldn’t handle 😂
The sun was hitting in the exact right spot and I was lucky enough to get some incredible photos showing the Borealis smoke full rainbow spectrum glitter 😍 og borealis smoke in my opinion is so underrated!
There is only a week between these two pics. I’ve tried pretty much everything for my low porosity hair and nothing has ever worked until this. The second pic is before I started using aloe gel. Same lighting, same spot and no filters. This is my second time using aloe Vera gel as a hair mask and I can’t praise it enough! Following my other post I thought I’d describe in more detail about how I do it.
First I spray my hair so it’s slightly damp, just with a spray bottle
Then I apply the aloe gel to my hair using my hands from root to tip
I then wrap my hair in plastic wrap, leave it for about an hour before washing and conditioning my hair like normal
I let it air dry and that’s literally it!
If you’re going to try this just make sure it’s 100% aloe gel and heaps of others contain alcohol and that’s not great for your hair.
Bonus sunshine pic ☺️
First time trying aloe gel on my hair and omg! For context my hair is normally a dry, frizzy mess. I was sceptical but it seems like my hair loves it! I realise now that I should have taken a before pic but I didn’t bother because nothing normally works for my hair 😅
