Persephone’s Suitcase Full of Summertime Inspired Earrings
Hi all! I’m very new to reddit and accidentally posted about these earrings without the pictures a few days ago. I’m a small polymer clay artist and a huge musicals nerd, so I created a jewelry collection inspired by Hadestown. These specific ones are Persephone’s suitcase full of summertime! They took hours to make and so much tiny little details, but they are the earrings I’m the most proud of in my 3 years creating with polymer clay, so I thought I’d share with other Hadestown fans :)
I first saw the musical back in November on the national tour and absolutely LOVED IT!! So much so that I went to another nearby tour stop 3 months later to see it again. I couldn’t get the songs off my mind for weeks and the more I listened, the more I started to visualize some of the lyrics as wearable art. Persephone’s suitcase full of summertime was my particular favorite because I really got to play around with the shapes and colors and the components inside the purse. They are my proud and joy and I really hope you all like them! :)
