External plug in for folding portable solar panels with a dc8020 plug
I made the questionable choice of not permanently mounting solar on my van roof, I think I've got decent reasons but it's still something I can see myself regretting. Instead I've oversized my battery capacity, have a 600watt DC to DC charger, and two 200watt portable fold up solar panels that came as a package deal with my power station from jackery.
My question is a fix to a minor problem, plugging in the solar panels without running them through a cracked window and letting some bugs in. I've got a shore power port already installed and was hoping I could find something similar for my solar panels but I'm coming up short.
I'm unsure if the issue is my search terms or if there really isn't something like this out there. I think part of the issue is that the Jackery system uses dc8020 plugs and that seems to not be the industry standard.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
