Apprentice Lineman

Been trying to get into the trade for about 3 months now. Every single day I was checking the company website for helper positions, but unfortunately nothing was opening up. One day I finally saw Meter Helper positions posted and applied to all of them, but no luck.About a week later I saw an Apprentice Lineman posting and immediately applied. I got accepted to take the CAST test, so I spent 2 solid weeks studying basic math and conversions nonstop. Honestly, all that hard work paid off because I passed! Now I’m about to head to climbing school for a week and I’m beyond stoked. Feels good seeing the hard work finally start turning into opportunities. For the apprentices and journeymen in here any advice for climbing school or for starting out as an apprentice lineman? Anything you wish you knew when you first got into the trade?
