Can I still use VA urgent care if haven’t been seen in 24 months?
Hey y’all I recently lost my civilian health insurance and only have my VA healthcare now and unfortunately I am now needing to be seen for a gnarly ingrown toenail. I have an appointment in 2ish weeks with my new primary doctor at the VA for the first time but my issue is getting worse.
That being said if I went to my local VA urgent care would i be turned away since I haven’t received care in 24 months? The VA website says I won’t be eligible but Im unsure if I can wait the two weeks to make me eligible.
