Can I freeze a payment that I think it is not my responsibility? (Widerspruch)
Hi,
I bought something a few months ago from a German company (not gonna say the name or what I bought).
They offered me an installation service that I paid for and then, after a few months, this thing stopped working.
So I contacted the company (let's call it company-A) and they told me that I should fill a form with the warranty company.
I did that, a technician from the warranty company came and checked the thing and told me "I cannot do nothing, the installation was done wrongly so the warranty doesn't cover it".
So I talked to company-A and they told me that they would send me and install a new thing.
And a few days later the warranty Company sent me a bill of a hundred Euros since they came for "nothing".
So...I asked company-A to pay for this since it was their fault that the thing was wrongly installed...but they haven't replied yet, so since I have just a few days left for paying the bill I don't know if I should ask for the Widerspruch or wait a bit more.
Maybe I should pay for it and hope that the company-A will pay me back for it... But I don't know if I can trust them
