OWC 4m2 ultra shows as connected in windows but but no disks appear
I've got a OWC 4m2 ultra thats behaving strangely.
I have 4 SSDs formatted in ex-fat in it, but when I connect it to a thunderbolt 4 port (win 11, Z690 hero, thunderbolt verified as working in BIOS and in windows, apple thunderbolt 5 cable), I see "4M2 Ultra" pop up as connected on the USB device list, but none of the 4 drives show up. They don't appear in Disk manager as unlabelled volumes, and don't appear in BIOS. Softraid can't see them either. The blue light on the device showing data connection is present.
Does anyone know whats going on and how to fix this? I emailed OWC support but dead silence from them.
I am quite disappointed in this product. Even on my Mac Pro its buggy: sometimes I connect and only two out of 4 disks appear, and I have to power cycle the 4M2 a few times to get 4 disks to appear.
