My current laptop is falling apart, so I’m looking for a replacement. I have a budget of roughly €900 (located in the Netherlands).

My main requirements are:

• Budget: < €900.
• Processor: Intel Core i7 (or Core Ultra 7) – must be Intel for reliable Thunderbolt/eGPU support.
• Storage: Needs 1TB (I am willing to buy a 512GB model and upgrade the SSD myself if the laptop allows it).
• Key Feature: Must have Thunderbolt 4 (or 5) for a future eGPU setup.
• Goal: I plan to use this with an external RTX 5060 later.
• Build Quality: My previous IdeaPad 5 literally fell apart, so I’m looking for something more durable (business-class like ThinkPad T-series, EliteBook, or similar).

Does anyone have recommendations for specific models or refurbished deals that fit these criteria? Is there a specific "hidden gem" in the business-laptop market I should look for?
