Hi everyone,

I’m currently planning to enroll in the BS in Cybersecurity program at Capella via the FlexPath format. My primary goal is to finish the remaining credits in one term after maximizing my transfer credits.

I’m looking for some honest feedback from current students or alumni regarding the following:

• Responsiveness: How would you rate the speed and quality of support from faculty when it comes to grading?
• Grading Consistency: One of my biggest fears is that since Capella University is a For-profit organization, i fear that the grading process might be intentionally slow or that papers get returned for minor, subjective reasons, effectively forcing students to pay for additional terms. Has this been your experience, or is the grading generally fair and predictable if you follow the rubric?
• FlexPath Advice: If you’ve successfully accelerated through this program, what did you learn about navigating the faculty feedback loop effectively?

I am highly motivated and plan to hit the ground running, but I want to go into this with eyes wide open regarding the school’s commitment to supporting students who want to move quickly.

Any insights on the Cybersecurity path specifically would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
