Engine Cut-Off problem
Hello I’ve been having a problem with my 2008 Nissan Micra (Automatic) where quite infrequently during a short drive at low speeds the engine will seemingly randomly cut off. And once I’ve pulled into a safe spot and popped the hazards on when I try to restart it sometimes it will come back on almost instantly and other times it will take a full minute of leaving it before trying it again to turn back on, in the meantime it would just sputter. I’m taking it to a mechanic tomorrow and from what I’ve researched it’s pointing towards a purge valve EVAP problem but I just wanted some extra advice or knowledge on the problem and how to approach the mechanic with it. Please ignore the fact that I drive a 2008 Nissan Micra I just needed a cheap gets me from A to B car. Thanks.
