A Treat for everyone, 10 Suggestions to add a new dimensions to line ups Vol. 1
While there are some big TT capability gaps that often get discussed in the subreddit (SPAA, Italian/Swedish/Israeli Heavy Tanks, German Light tanks and armored cars, etc), almost every tree has a few different ones, so I wanted to look at a variety of these potential gaps and what unique, or home grown modifications at a minimum, could address them.
I've tried to find something for each nation that adds that either fills in a gap in a better used line up (see Britain, France) or breathes new life into a lesser used line up (See Germany 9.7).
*Not every line up perfectly matched the suggested BR, but the additions could still add a new capability if either uptiered, or of other vehicles were uptiered to match them
The suggestions, in order, are:
- The Cadillac Commando DFV 90mm - a 90mm stabilized armored car with apfsds.
- The Leopard 2 PT06/T05 Prototype - Imagine a OF-40 MTCA with 50% more horsepower.
- Heavy Atom - A Russo-French heavy IFV with the deadly Russian 57mm autocannon.
- Vickers Valkyr H.20 - A British SPAA with twin radar guided 20mm autocannons.
- AMX-10P PAC90 - an amphibious, unstabilized, 90mm apfsds carrying light support vehicle for Japan via the Indonesian subtree.
- CS/AA5 - A Chinese wheeled AFV with a 40mm CTA cannon.
- VEC H.90 - a low pressure 90mm cannon on a Spanish wheeled AFV platform for Italy (think AML 90).
- ERC TTB190 - a French High pressure 90mm cannon with the forbidden stabilizer below 9.3
- IKV-91-40mm - a testbed for the later CV9040 40mm bofors, this light support vehicle features the powerful Swedish autocannon but lacks a stabilizer.
- 105mm Eitan Prototype - the wheeled Eitan IFV hull sporting the 105mm autoloading Sabrah turret. The slow reload (6 rounds/min) could make up for solid ammunition options.
Always open for other suggestions as well.
