I wanted to play Minecraft version 1.12.2, but I ran into a problem where the controls aren't working properly—for example, the key that opens the inventory no longer works, and the W, A, S, and D keys aren't working either.

I tried downloading Java 8 and changing the Java version in the launcher, but it didn’t help.

I changed the system’s primary language to English; I also changed the language to English before launching the launcher, but it didn’t help.

I’m using the Legacy Launcher; I haven’t even tried the Prism Launcher because there’s no licensed version available.
When I press Escape, only one key works, but only once
