Should I go for it or not ?

Profile: 6/7/6

24F, BA Political Science (Open University).

I've been thinking about preparing for CAT, but I'm unsure whether my academic profile would be a major disadvantage.

My academics are 6/7/6, and I don't have a particularly strong profile otherwise. Before investing significant time and effort into CAT preparation, I wanted to understand whether people with similar profiles have managed to get into good MBA colleges.

How much do past academics affect admissions if someone scores very well in CAT?

If you had a similar profile, would you still go ahead with CAT preparation today?

Looking for honest opinions and experiences from people who have been through the process.

Birthday hai OP ka , everyone 🥳

Hi , 24 F here and today is my 24th birthday. 🎂

Turning 24 feels strange. The older I get, the more I realize how much there still is to learn, achieve, and experience. Some dreams are still far away, and I'm not exactly where I imagined I'd be by now. But I've also learned that life doesn't always move according to our timelines.

Today, I'm choosing to appreciate how far I've come instead of focusing only on how far I have left to go.

As I step into 24, I'm hoping for growth, peace, better decisions, new opportunities, and the courage to keep moving forward even when things feel uncertain.

Here's to a new chapter and, hopefully, one of the best phases of my life.

What do you guys do on your birthday for fun , share please ?

Rida and her pick me activism is really annoying."inframe:(Rida tharanaa)

So basically, there was a girl dancing at a club in Milan, and a guy clearly wanted to dance or at least talk to her. Then madam suddenly inserts herself right between them so she can have the spotlight instead.

The guy naturally kept trying to interact with the original girl, and somehow that turned into her getting offended because he wasn’t giving her attention. Then she literally picked a fight with him over it.

What’s actually fascinating is the way the entire story got rewritten afterward. Rida wanted everyone to believe she was some fearless protector of women, when honestly the vibe looked more like people needed protection from her unnecessary interference in the first place.

Like girl… it’s Milan nightlife, not a hostage negotiation. Not every woman talking to a man needs a self-appointed bodyguard jumping in for performative feminism and pick-me attention.

[For hire] - looking for work- 25k/-

Hi, I’m a 23(F) graduate from Delhi, currently looking for remote opportunities in operations, administrative support, project coordination, workflow management, or executive/virtual assistant roles.

I’ve been actively applying for over a month now, and despite putting in genuine effort, it’s been extremely difficult to even get a proper opportunity to prove myself.

My experience includes:

\\- Workflow and task coordination

\\- Scheduling and follow-up management

\\- Documentation and data organization

\\- Remote operational support

\\- Progress tracking and reporting

\\- Managing structured systems and deadlines

\\- Content/backend support tasks

I’ve worked with tools like:

Google Sheets, MS Office, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.

I’m highly comfortable with:

\\- Organized execution

\\- Handling multiple priorities

\\- Maintaining structured workflows

\\- Independent remote work

\\- Communication and coordination tasks

I also built workflow trackers and managed structured datasets/projects independently to improve task visibility and reduce missed follow-ups.

At this point, I’m genuinely looking for:

\\- Remote full-time roles

\\- Internships

\\- Freelance opportunities

\\- Startup roles

\\- Contract work

\\- Referral opportunities

I’m willing to learn quickly, start immediately, and adapt wherever needed. I know I may not have years of experience yet, but I do know how to work responsibly and consistently.

The current job market honestly feels absurd companies want experience for entry-level roles while giving nobody the chance to gain it.

A magnificent corporate paradox.

If anyone knows of remote openings or can refer me somewhere, I’d sincerely appreciate it.

Thank you.

FOR HIRE - Looking for work

Honestly, I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do at this point.

I’ve been applying constantly for remote jobs, freelance work, operations/admin roles, virtual assistant work, content support and most of the time it’s either rejection or complete ghosting.

What’s frustrating is that I KNOW I can work.

I have experience with: • workflow management

• task coordination

• scheduling & follow-ups

• Google Sheets / MS Office

• operations & admin support

• Canva & Photoshop

• content organization

• structured tracking systems

Want file management & data organization

I’m good at organized work. I genuinely enjoy bringing structure into chaos, handling execution, keeping track of things properly, and making workflows smoother.

I can do:

remote admin work

operations support

virtual assistance

coordination tasks

design/content support

project-based freelance work

At this point, I’m just looking for someone willing to give me an actual opportunity instead of another automated rejection email or being ghosted after interviews.

If anyone knows any openings, startups hiring remotely, freelance projects, or literally any genuine lead where these skills could be useful, please DM me.

I’d seriously appreciate it.

I don’t know if this is normal or if I’m just doing everything wrong, but job hunting right now feels like shouting into a void.

I’ve been applying consistently, getting a few responses here and there, but most of it just ends in ghosting. Like full silence. It’s confusing because sometimes I even get told my profile looks “good”… and then nothing happens.

For context, I’m not completely starting from zero. I’ve done freelance work in content and design (Canva, Photoshop), handled basic operations like scheduling and coordination, and even tried sales work like lead generation, follow-ups, and managing things in sheets/CRM. So I feel like I can work… I just don’t know where I actually fit.

At this point, I’m honestly open to anything — internships, entry-level roles, work-from-home, whatever just helps me start somewhere real. It’s less about finding the “perfect” job and more about not feeling stuck like this.

If anyone has been in this phase before — what was actually wrong? Was it your approach, your profile, your expectations? And if you know of any openings, referrals, or even just direction on what roles I should seriously focus on, I’d really appreciate it.

Right now I just need clarity (and maybe a little luck).
